4L80 cooler fittings
Ordered the B & M 70274 cooler and need the lines and connections (cooler, what hose, trans fittings)
Any help on the parts and is there a complete kit I can buy for all of the install?

i dont know what kind of fittings the cooler has, barb'ed or pipe-hard to have a kit form, esp with a 4l80e, as they use 2 diff return line locations, depending on year
ATI Perf. Products has AN fittings for the trans, which use 1/4-18 STRAIGHT
thread, not tapered pipe
if its a trans with both cooler lines up front, you can use both of the AN fittings, make up some hi pres lines and use AN fittings in the cooler, your done
if the trans is a newer one, the return is farther back-Sonnax makes an adapter setup to bring that line forward, you can adapt to that-it all depends on how much room you have where the fitting is
i used the stock fitting in the back, screwed it in, marked where it stopped, welded a 90 deg AN fitting on so it pointed forward, and i was done

Alright, I have the newer version of the 4L80 (rear line further back)
Bought the fitting for the rear and the transition to -6an.
For the front fitting can I just buy a 1/4" npt to -6an transition and screw it right in to the housing?
