If you don't have the little fill adapter it can be a PITA to fill.

Yes I do. I put a piece of vinyl tube on the adapter. Its not bad filling but since the dipstick is plastic its a huge pain to get back into the trans. It goes thru the tube fine but the transition between the tube and the pan its crazy frustrating getting it back in. If you have one you know what i'm talking about.

I took a knife and whittled (yes I said whittled haha) the end into a better V because the plastic dipstick doesn't like to go back in without turning and moving back in and out until you find the exact spot where it fits.

Whats your weight of the car for the guys going th350? I broke the case on mine, but I didn't know if it was a defective case or not. I decided not to chance it and went with a th400.

I'm sure you do. Is it driven any miles on the street? I'm just saying off of my experience and what i've heard from others. I don't think it is to bad of advise telling people to over build a little when the cost is pretty minimal.

If I can find this thread when I get back to the states, I'll post up the weight on my CETA. It weighed 3060 before as a six speed EFI car. I'm weighing it again to see what TH350 and 6 point Wolfe added, it'll be a couple months though

Just for the record.. Our dipstick tube is only 71.70 plus shipping.. Probly would run around $85 shipped. I know alot of our parts seem to be over priced sometimes, but these dipstick tubes we sell are a great deal, especially if the Lokar dipsticks are $90 from Jegs.

My cost through Motorstate Distributing on the Lokar one was only like 60 something. But I do need to get ahold of you guys soon for a few things!

Its driven to/from the track and cruised around on weekend nights to the local car get togethers...not a daily driver type etc...

cruising a th350/400 on the street is no big deal, you normally have a pretty tight converter for any high horsepower deal which makes alot easier to cruise around.
