4L60E wont pull!?!

4L60E wont pull!?! When its in the air it will turn the tires but stops pulling shortly after. If it is on the ground it doesnt do anything. As long as i have the tires off the ground it will go into forward gear (1st i guess) and it will also go into reverse. The thing that throws me off is that once it pulls for a few seconds in either gear it will not pull again unless i cut the car off and restart it. Any ideas of what could cause this?
filter is clogged with debris trans has failed

The filter is new. I just got the car about a week or so ago. It has the 5.3 swapped into it and i had to change the pan. The trans was supposed to be just changed 2 days before the motor blew. When i got the car is want finished, I got it done and now thats my only problem. Anything else yall can think think of that might cause this? Converter maybe?
well no movement can only come from a couple things.

What was in it before. WHat years the trans?

The motor is from a 03 silverado (5.3). The trans is out of a 02 camaro ss. This car had a 5.7 ls1 but threw a rod. I might have found the problem. I had the car running and closed the hood then it died. I stsrted it back up and started looking around and grabbed the computer and it died again. Its cutting the fuel pump off when it is touched. Could there be a bad ground cause the computer to not do the right thing?

No and electrical issue would not cause a no movement situtation. No movement is a trans/converter issue.
