Default Stall decisions

Ok, well i posted a while ago about which stall..My car has a g5x2 cam, boltons, 3.73 gears...It currently has a 2800 vigalante in it which is hurting me at the track.......It is elgible for a free restall....I have heard great things about the pt4400 from yank...but im wondering, will i be happy with this vig restalled to 4400 or should i go with something different, stall speed wise. Im conteplating selling the vig and buying a yank4400...I guess what im wondering is, how will a vig 4400 be compared to the pt4400...and is 4400 where i wanna go with the vig..Car is driven some on the street but not alot...

the pt series from yank i have heard is a track monster. i like the SS series bc they are very tight for street driving but still have a great hit from what i have heard. i personally would call up some sponsors and talk it over with them. with two great products i would use customer service, warranty, and restall time as my deciding factor.

I have the PT4400 and I love it. Knocked .6 off my times with the mods in my sig. With a cam, I think it will be wicked. Street manners are not that bad either. Just sucks from a roll.

PT4400 is a monster at the track and on the street. I think you will be very happy with it. It has great street manners, but leaves nothing on the table when it comes to top end. I replaced the SS4000 with this and it gave up nothing to the SS performance-wise. It's not for everyone, but the difference it made on my car was huge and I've never looked back. The PT series rock!!

Can you elaborate? My absolute favorite attribute of the PT4400 is how it performs from a roll. It put my previous SS4000 to shame. The topend on mine is just insane...it pulls harder past 100 MPH than it does below. It'll pull hard well past the 155 MPH speedo and never let off.

It just seems like it pulls so slow. Riding in the car from a 40-100, the speedo shoots up there, but the car really does not feel fast. Granted, I have a feeling that I'm having a valve float problem because of my topend, but even when I first got it it was like that. When I had the trans tuned the power graph just droped after about 5300rpms.

Unless I missed something, it looks like you're running the stock cam? If that's the case, then it makes sense. I believe the PT4400 would be a bit much for a stock internal car. Like I said, power never falls off and it loves to wind out. If you are stock internal, get a cam in the 230+ range and then see how you like the topend. I promise you won't be disappointed!

Yes, I am stock internal...for right now haha. Once I have a job in the works I will start buying parts for the cam.
