Several of the sponsors sell good converters, and will recommend you the right one. Call several of them and see which one you like the best.
Yank, Circle D, possibly FTI (not sure if they do the 80e)'ve got HP tuners and did all the **** to my trans am in my garage. I can segment swap the computer for you, I used a 2500 van seg for mine it works fine, but I no it going work with 4L60.... Seg swap it. I'm in 40 min south east of ATL
With that much hp, it may or may not. A good rebuilt one will hold up fine.
