Thanks mounts"
I disagree - best mod I've done to date for my H/C car. Took all the shaking out of the interior of the car.
I also have the poly torque arm mount ( via a R/T torque arm ) as well as the ES poly tranny mount with no plate and shaved nubs.

Sure is better than the tranny tunnel getting slammed by the tranny with that stock piece of crap. It was a 01 mount as well. No good there. The poly has fixed all that!

I most recently went to the local Chevy Dealer parts department (
), and asked to see the stock mount for my 2001 Z28. When he gave me the part, I was easily able to squeeze the rubber between my thumb, and index finger, it was that soft. The dealer wanted $125 for the part.I purchased the "Prothane" trans mount for $24.95, and will have it installed next month.

why do you have to mod the poly?
what happens if you dont?
i may get an ES
my trans mount is cracked in half, held together by the trans itself.
i got three washers that make the trans wanna come up from under the shifter during the ol' 1-2
