Stall question
I'm doing a heads and cam swap in my 98 C5, but trying to budget it out some. I have a Yank SS 3600 stall that I'm going to be putting in. I want to pay a shop to do the stall, then afterwards I want to do the heads/cam/headers myself. (when I have the cash for the headers and cam).
Would it cause issues to drive the car with that stall in the car and everything else stock for a short time if needed?
Let me say that the car is not a DD. I've put maybe 1K miles on it since last winter. I just don't want to be in a scenario where I can't drive the car. Plus I can't just fork up the cash for the install, cam, and headers at the same time.
