Default Ouch Trans #5 Gone

WELL I HAVE A COUPLE OF QUESTIONS.ONE IS I MADE A 4L60E A MANUAL VALVE BODY AND I WAS MOTORING AROUND TOWN AND LEFT A STOP LIGHT IN A BIT OF A HURRY.WHICH LEADS TO THE PROBLEM.AT THE TIME OF SHIFTING TO DRIVE IT WAS'NT THERE.I HAD JUST REPLACED THE CLUTCHES IN 3RD AND A NEW BAND FOR 2ND.OH YEH AND WHEN I CAME TO A STOP AND SHIFTED TO 1ST IT FELT LIKE IT WAS HANGING UP.I WOULD LET OFF THE BRAKE AND YOU COULD FEEL IT WANT TO PULL BUT IT WAS LIKE SOMEONE WEDGED SOMETHING TO KEEP IT FROM MOVING.STEPPED ON THE GAS AND IT RELEASED BUT DID'NT SOUND TO GOOD.ANYONE GOT ANY IDEAS.OH YEH AND FOR WHATEVER REASON 4TH GEAR NEVER WORKED. ALSO DOES ANYONE HAVE A GOOD IDEA WHERE I WOULD FIND A VACUM LINE FOR THE TRANS.I GOT ONE NOW JUST WONDERING IF THERE WAS A BETTER ONE THEN THE LITTLE LINE I'M USING OFF THE BACK OF THE MANIFOLD.

I could be mistaken but I think my vacuum line for the vacuum modulator comes off the brake booster instead of the manifold. I don't know if that's your problem but it might be worth a try.

where exactly would i hook it up at cause that might be the problem.i need to know if you guys could give me an idea where exactly to hook it up that would be great.

There's a #3 line coming off the back of the brake booster right at the firewall. It's going towards the passenger side of the car, we just cut it and plumbed in a little "T" and then took the vacuum line down to the modulator. my car is at the shop now or I'd take a picture of it for you.

when it gets out of the shop if you would'nt mind that would be great.mine will be down for awhile.trans shop is way backed up.thanks man

Actually make sure you use hard line down to the modulator and only use short pieces of rubber line. Yes it should T off of the brake booster line!
