Ouch Trans #5 Gone

Ouch Trans #5 Gone WELL I HAVE A COUPLE OF QUESTIONS.ONE IS I MADE A 4L60E A MANUAL VALVE BODY AND I WAS MOTORING AROUND TOWN AND LEFT A STOP LIGHT IN A BIT OF A HURRY.WHICH LEADS TO THE PROBLEM.AT THE TIME OF SHIFTING TO DRIVE IT WAS'NT THERE.I HAD JUST REPLACED THE CLUTCHES IN 3RD AND A NEW BAND FOR 2ND.OH YEH AND WHEN I CAME TO A STOP AND SHIFTED TO 1ST IT FELT LIKE IT WAS HANGING UP.I WOULD LET OFF THE BRAKE AND YOU COULD FEEL IT WANT TO PULL BUT IT WAS LIKE SOMEONE WEDGED SOMETHING TO KEEP IT FROM MOVING.STEPPED ON THE GAS AND IT RELEASED BUT DID'NT SOUND TO GOOD.ANYONE GOT ANY IDEAS.OH YEH AND FOR WHATEVER REASON 4TH GEAR NEVER WORKED. 
ALSO DOES ANYONE HAVE A GOOD IDEA WHERE I WOULD FIND A VACUM LINE FOR THE TRANS.I GOT ONE NOW JUST WONDERING IF THERE WAS A BETTER ONE THEN THE LITTLE LINE I'M USING OFF THE BACK OF THE MANIFOLD. 
ALSO DOES ANYONE HAVE A GOOD IDEA WHERE I WOULD FIND A VACUM LINE FOR THE TRANS.I GOT ONE NOW JUST WONDERING IF THERE WAS A BETTER ONE THEN THE LITTLE LINE I'M USING OFF THE BACK OF THE MANIFOLD. Last edited by blkmgc1; Dec 3, 2003 at 02:03 PM.

I could be mistaken but I think my vacuum line for the vacuum modulator comes off the brake booster instead of the manifold. I don't know if that's your problem but it might be worth a try.

There's a #3 line coming off the back of the brake booster right at the firewall. It's going towards the passenger side of the car, we just cut it and plumbed in a little "T" and then took the vacuum line down to the modulator. my car is at the shop now or I'd take a picture of it for you.
