yeah the first thing im going to do is subframe connectors because my neighbors firehawk tweeked so bad the t tops woulndt even go in till he took it to the shop. is there really a difference between the 3 point and 2 point, and the chromoly and mild steel?

any will do the job, but i'd highly recommend weld-ins. also, boxed ones are very nice since you can use them as a jacking point. 3 points can't hurt, but i'm plenty happy with my 2 point.

I ran 13.5 with a SLP lid and FTRA.....

If I could do my mods all over again. I would do the stall and DRs as others have recommended....

with suspension and bolts ons + stall & DRs you should hit low 12's, then cam or spray it for 11's or both for low 11's...

Every second you knock off, it will be hard to knock of the next second and suspension work and setup will come into play more..

so it really doesent matter ? all of them are practically the same ? because i dont wanna spend an extera 150 bucks for nothing if i can just get some cheapo's

i really dont see a reason to get the 3 point. i got the 2 point, boxed, weld in ones and i love them. they actually made a suprising difference. and like mentioned they make good jacking spots, and they added a nice touch to my car.

hopefully i can find a cheap used pair...whatever comes along i will use. this will be a hardcore budget build car ! going to the bank tomorrow after school to get my cashiers check. Think ill notice a difference going from a 1.9 saturn to an ls1 ? or is it not really that noticeable ?

put a procharger on it 7psi for $5,500 thtll get u in 11's

the v6 one have a 273 thts what my 1999 v6 firebird had i never heard an ls1 with 273s

2.73's were standard in automatic z28s, you have to check the RPO code on the door. GU2=2.73, GU5=3.23. also, GU2 cars came with steel driveshafts.

um then whats in the manual? and my v6 had 2.73 the manual is a 3.42

they had 3 different options for rears.

All v6 cars got the 2.73, A4 SS got the 3.23, Base A4 Z28 Got the 2.73 w/ optional 3.23, all M6 got the 3.42

I thought All LS1's had the Aluminum Driveshafts? 2 Piece on the v6??

i got the car fellas. runs great just flipped over to 29,000 miles on the way home...paid 9800 for it.
