I really cant see where it would be a problem but im not sure if fuel lines are braided properly like hydraulic lines. The auto parts stores should be able to make you a couple of lines with ends on them for about $50. I believe the 4L60e coolant lines use a 1/4" NPT fitting.

going to use about 1 foot of the old hard lines, its because i mounted my oil cooler under the passenger seat, on the bottom of the car. so im running these lines to the cooler.

Not unless you want to replace them on the side of the road. You can get rubber tranny cooler lines from the auto parts store. that's why they are called "fuel line". they won't take the heat or the pressure.

as said, you need pressure and temp rated line-go to a truck shop or somewhere they have hyd. lines if the auto parts store doesnt have them
if you can get the hard line off, it can have the end belled to help hold the flex line from trying to slip off

they have heat sleeves, and they are only about 2 ft long per line.

I wouldn't do it, I've seen them blow off too easily in the past. Parts stores have the hose you need CHEAP

I ran around with fuel line hose on the cooler lines for
years. Only problems I had were, the hose eventually
hardens up and will slide off and puke the juice all over
the pavement. Solved that one by using 2 hose clamps
per end. But then, this was on a $499 beater vehicle.

But I would minimize the rubber and maximize the steel
just on general principles. Steel is not hard to bend to
the right fit, and no more expensive than fuel hose.
