Mine is gonna be say 90% track with the occasional "cruise" night. Would like to lay some spray to it, but probably not till next year.

great thread, I have pretty close to the same LQ9 ported unshaved 317s 244-248 .579 cam GM carb intake 750 hp carb 3200lbs exept I have a 2004r from my turbo buick days with an art carr 9.5 convertor that needs a restall and 3.42 gears I'm going to call either ptc or FTI to rework my convertor I was thinking 4000 but now I'm leaning towards 4500 or so

I get approximately 7.2 mpg. @ 3700 rpms on the highway. LSJM1 what rear gear size. I'm thinking about dropping to a 3.73. The only problem is its a blast to drive. Ive had old school sbc and never had this much fun or power. I could see having one race/street car now. It just seemed like it was either for long while
