Default performabuilt trans and yank pt4000 - 12.1@113

previous track best was 12.9@108 with a 2.0 60ft

Put the level 2 trans and yank pt4000 in. Removed Ac and rear seats. Put an underdrive pulley on.

Ran two 12.111's
one @ 113 with a 1.7 60ft
one @ 112 with a 1.8 60ft

The car has easy consistent 11's in it. I can feel it. I had to seriously baby it out of the hole. just sitting at the line and easing into the throttle. otherwise I would spin. Couldnt go WOT till the 60ft marker. The stall pulls like a monster. I was chasing down people.

Ran on a 17x9 275 street tire. About to order an s60 rear with 3.73s and a spool, with 17x7 and 17x11 street lites rims. Well see what happens then

What mods did you have when you ran 12.9@108? Did you have the car tuned for the trans and stall?

Great times. I would also like to know if you had to have the trans tuned to the new converter?

I had everything in my signature but the trans/stall/underdrive pulley when i ran the 12.9

and yes I tuned the stall and trans. I did it myself with efi live. I can post my tune file if anybody wants to see how to tune it.

It really runs like an animal right now for a stock motor. Im guessing 11.8 after i get the rear/gears/tires im about to order.

I would appreciate it if you posted your tune file. I'm new to this and I would like to learn how to tune for myself. Thanks

here we go. im no expert tuner but i did my homework and ive been driving on this trans tune for awhile.

you should be able to side by side compare in efi live with a 98 stock tune to see what i changed.
