something broke???

Default something broke???

got ? for you all driving down road at 60 car made a pop sound then no gears its got park but thats all have any ideas,wasent even getting on it the wife was driving.the trans century stg 2 4l60 with circle d converter about 3600 to 3800 stall if that helps.

If you shut the car off and turn it back on will it move when you shift it into 1 or 2?

ill check that tommorow i havent even started the car since i got it off the rollback,but it did leak sum fluid in the front around the bellhousing area.

Sounds like the front seal or pump took a dump.

also it has about 5000 miles on it,on the street only no track or stickey tires yet.i think it might be the pump to,the front seal wouldnt keep it from moving.

That's why I went to a T56..they aren't as bitchy when parts fail..you can still move most of the time..

hi, same thing just happened to my car. i had no gears at all. repaced the trans pump and now it has all the gears. good luck

my car was factory 6sp,just changed to a4, 3 months ago,like the auto way better.

Sounds like you're going to be pulling the trans. If you have a gauge you could always check your line pressures, good luck

Same happened to me man, did you figure out what caused it?
im going out now to see if its the pump. . . . . taking the line off to see if it pushes and fluid out the tranny. if it doesn't. . . . then i know what happened.
