That solves that one! Now why would they sell such a product?

Trevor at Texas Speed has a good knowledge of the A4. He knows not to recommend that thing, or at least to tell his customers not to use the high setting. The low setting might be safe and increase shift feel a bit, but the high setting is known to create excessive pressure. FWIW, The same is true of other devices & tuners out there that do the same thing. If you aren't careful and crank it all the way up, you can cause damage.

I probably wouldn't sell it, but it is a legitimate product that people want so I not surprised that they offer it for sale.

Its just like a HPP3 or predator etc. Anytime you dont drop the pan for a shift kit its line pressure. And even some shift kits do the same thing. The only difference is its all this thing does. They are 25bucks new on ebay. I had one before i got my HPP3 and had it on the middle setting. I just use the hpp3 now. After my converter it was better than having nothing because it raised the pressure to around where it was before. Its like anyother tranny mod DONT abuse it..

Installing a converter did not drop your line pressure. It does effect the feel of the shifts because of the looseness of the converter. The looseness takes up some of the slack between shifts, so they don't bang as much.

As Ragtop99 mentioned, we offer the part for sale because I have actually had quite a few requests for it. We also offer shorty headers, but I don't recommend them. If someone e-mails or calls me regarding this product, I certainly don't recommend it for the majority of applications. As Joel mentioned, the low setting may be okay, but the high setting is a good way to tear something up over time. It's the exact same thing that the DiabloSport Predator and Hypertech PP3 do: they raise the line pressure electronically.

We ALWAYS recommend customers call or e-mail us with any questions or concerns. We do not recommend a part just because it can lead to a sale. I have been a customer a lot longer than I have a business owner, and I know what I expect from vendors. I should expect no less from my own business! We're always here to help with any technical questions that you may have.

Let me know if you have any other questions.
