The stockers are flimsy pieces of **** that tend to crack around the bolt holes
When my Yank arrived it had new bolts with it. However, my dilemma was, that the CAT flexplate was twice as thick and the converter needed to be spaced out with shims. If I would have used the new bolts there would have only been a couple threads engaged. So, I went to Orielly after everything was said and done and got a bolt that was just a tad too long (a tad too short and a tad too long were my only two choices) I figured the exact length I needed for the bolt to tighten and be about 1 thread from bottoming out in the converter foot hole. Then I cut it with a dremel and filed the first thread for smooth engagement. Worked perfect. It sounds kinda OCD, but I felt like this was the right way to do it.
