?tci? So im lookin to get a 3200 Converter im not buildin an all out drag car just something to have a little fun driving low 12s would be ideal nothing to crazy is a TCI worth buyin in this case i have a buddy cuttin running 11.8s bolt on only with 1.6X 60fts.... with this converter...
I have a TCI Super Street Fighter 3500 and it works fine. Never any issue, my 60's will be in the 1.6's once I get better at launching.

TCI has been around a long time, I damaged mine when I first built the car, sent back to them to have it fixed and they took care of it for free, even
after I admitted my mistake. Damn good customer service.

Where the cheap TCI models seem to fall down, is
the lockup clutch. I was plenty happy with the fluid
part of performance on my TCI SF 3000 (better than
97% efficient, smooth as silk) but the lockup clutch
gave out early, helped along by some Trick Shi(f)t
fluid.
You might inquire about better options than what
they show for the bargain basement.

When I had my TCI converter 3000 stall it work great all the way up until I broke my first rear and trans. Cardo I went high 1.5s 60fts on mine, but I don't know if you remember I also had 4.10s. Man its up to you what stall speed range are you looking for?
I just put a new trans in and took the check ball out of the end of the input shaft like a lot of shops do for cars that run a small stall converter. What a difference, the TCC engagement is like 5th gear, very positive engaged. I think this will help in the long term survival of the TCC clutch.

I know two guys, who don't go easy on their cars, with TCI converters. They have one of the top of the line converters from TCI(super street fighter). One car is a H/C/I with a built trans trans am and the other is a bolt-ons, cam, and 150 shot camaro. I also have a TCI, but need to get some money to get it installed.
