Help with choosing stall
My question(I have read the stickies and used the search button) which stall would be most suitable for a street car with the occasional trip to the track. I search and half the responses are get a yank 3600 and call it a day, or 2.73s suck.
Anyone with experience or a 2.73 set up advice would be great. I would like something somewhat tight(first stall alot + of nj traffic). I'm thinking a 3200 undecided on str. Any suggestions/opinons?
-Not really looking to swap rears or gears if I can get the right stall.
Thanks so much guys I'd like to get the stall in by the fall.

Sorry just looking for a good base of information. Thanks for the response anyone else 2.73s stalled? Sponsors I'm looking to spend money
I do not remember the STR right now. I need to call Greg at FTI to find out again.
Any converter you choose will feel a little more loose because of the 2.73 gear ratio so take that into consideration. You shouldnt have any issues at all otherwise.

It will slip a little more with your 2:73 gears but like I said you are going to want to do a stall either way. If you lived closer you could come drive mine and you would be sold. Also BTW I have 3:23's in my garage just sitting that I would let go. And there are also alot of guys with 3:42's from their 6 speed cars around. So when you do get gears they are easy to find those ratio's pretty cheap.
