Stall locking up at wot at 100mph? Feels like a shift?

I would not lock the converter up at WOT unless it is built for that application (multi-disc). A non power adder car will gain nothing in 1/4 mile ET but you might see a little more MPH. That converter you have is already very efficient up top so the lock up is not going to help. I'd get the tune corrected the first chance you get.

I think your shift rpm might be too low. My Z28 wouldn't have time to lock the converter in the 1/4 mile because it shifts around 6300 rpm.
I tuned it myself, then had it dyno'd. It made peak HP at 6100 rpm. Best run was a 12 flat at 113 corrected (forgot the DA).
It's got (or had) full exhaust, lid, 3.23's, Circle D 3C, my tuning, my 4L60E build, 8" slicks.

Idk if it actually makes it slower. It just kinda feels that way. It deffintatly doesnt feel like a 50 shot tho. I know that. It could just be in my head that it slows it down. I guess Ill know friday when I go to the track. My shift points are around 6200 rpm
