Sponsors please help asap. Please PM me your best price shipped to 67601 on a built 4l60e, 4l65e, or 4l80e to handle around the 700-850rwhp range. I have a forged 402ci lq9 with 550 rwhp as it is N/A but eventually going to throw a 150 or 200 shot at it maybe next year. I would like to be shifting in the 6800-7200rpm range and I currenlty have a vig 4k stall. I need a trans very soon. Money is tight but I need the car going and I want the trans to last. Thank you for your time.

Considering you want to be in the 850 RWHP range, I would look at the Stage III 4L80E builds on our site.
A Stage II would be fine for current power levels, but with your planned upgrades the Stage III or a hybrid between the Stage II and III would be what I would suggest.

With the power you are talking about an 80 is your best option hands down. Vince

not going with a 80e...my car is a 98 and the 98pcm and wiring harness cannot control a 80e electronically. Going with a 4l60e just not sure who i will buy one from or who i could send mine off to to get rebuilt. Currently it is a 650hp built 4l60e using a probuilt rebuild kit, but reverse is gone now.

A 98 PCM can control a 4L80E easily. A segment swap is no longer necessary.

If I understand it you run the adaptor wiring harness and make a small wiring change and a relay? Do I have that correct?

If your stock harness will reach an adapter harness isn't even necessary.
