with any stall you will lose very small a mount of top end because as far as I know no stall is 100% efficient, do not think there would be much if any differance in lose between 3600 0f 4000 stall
I suggest you call your convert maker and have then SPECK out a stall for you.
I ran a YANK 3600 for 8-9 years now running a Yank 4000, very happy with both
just my $0.02' Johnny

My ss3600 is 96% efficient (so they say) and is a great street/strip TC. I love it.

I was hoping you would chime in, yea I dont plan on daily driving it just a fun street/strip car that wont affect drivability as much. I am going to talk to Pat G so he can spec me out a cam for my needs instead of over the shelf cams...

If your keeping the 3.23 gears go 3600, think what you want long term. Are you going to spray it?? If you ever plan on changing gears then id say go 4000. My SS4000 drives on the looser side with my current 3.42s, if I still had 3.90s itd be better. Just think of what you wanna do to the car. 3600-3800 is an all around good converter. Just dont go junk TCI
