Default looking to buy a stall, what to get??

Im ready to stop getting beat at the track lol... I want to buy a stall but not sure what to get. My buddy tells me that the yank SS is one of the best. I was thinking a 3600good stall cuz of my gears. (2.73) so y'all could help me decide or educate me on the subject it would be appreciated

What mods do you have, and what do you see yourself doing with the car in the future. If you plan on doing heads cam or something like that get a 4000. If not, the 3600 is good.

The Yank SS series is very well known and works very well while keeping nice street manners. I have been working with Dave at Yank for a few years now and have never been let down.

I say the SS3600 is a good all around NA converter and good for some N20 use as well. I would look at getting a 3.23-3.42 gear which would greatly improve overall performance.

do some searching and you will find tons of great feedback on the SS converters

let me know if you need one

I have lid intake and full exhaust ... also what about a vigilante stall.? One of my other friend recommended one of those. He said something about having two discs or something g like that, and that supposedly it makes it drive like stock. I really didn't understand what he was talking about so I have no idea lol.

I would say Yank SS3600 would be a good choice. If planning on a cam in the future go SS4k. I would also agree a gear swap would help. A 3.23 is a good balance of gear and traction, but 3.73s are better SOTP but a little hard to control off the line without an ET Street.

Don't forget Circle D, FTI, Vig, and PTC, all quality vendors.

I had an SS3600 in my LT1 car with 4.10s. That verter was amazing, dropped .6 seconds off of my quarter mile and added 2mph.
