Default What cooler for dope style install?

About to order a B&M trans cooler and do the dope install on it but am not sure as to what size cooler everyone is using. I think it is the 24000gvw 11x6" but want to make sure.

Dope? Style?

How bout you paint it black, g-unit? Trans coolers don't have the same appeal as intercoolers.

Yep! Get the 24,000. Fits perfectly Dope style.

I hope you have kind of thin arms, I had the biggest pain in the *** getting it installed. Thankfully a friend was able to reach in to get it mounted.

Imagine yourself looking at the front of your vehicle (the nose), you mount the trans cooler to the left of the radiator, on the passenger side of the vehcile. It would be mounted approximetly behind the passenger side turn signal lens. You would then drill 2 small holes at the top of the air dam, to run the cooler hoses to the appropriate transmission lines. I do not have any pictures of my install, however it is very sanitary, a very clean look.

The fluid in the cooler stays cool by the incoming air hitting the air dam.

Hope this helps.

He used the 24k as everyone is saying. Some have mounted it up where the SSRA or FTRA duct woudl come through with the cooler going vertical along the duct, but there is some cutting on the plastic around in that portion. Others have taken out the baffle vent "thing" that you see cut for the dope style and put the cooler up in that area where the horn is. I don't know if that gives you any ideas or not.

If you look at picture "after1jpg", my cooler is mounted higher than this gentlemens, it is sitting to the left of the radiator where the 3 indentations are.
