Thats a bad idea. DAACO converters are mass produced. I would never consider one of their high stall units for my car. I don't even use them in bone stock applications!

The price isn't bad, but they are not known for being strong. I would get a better name brand or find a used converter on here.

Sean at top gear motorsports recommended a custom one at 4200 for a little under 600. I kno he's a reputable ls1 gear head so leanin towards that now. Wanted 2 go a little cheap lol

Dacco verters are junk for the most part. A few years back I sold 6 of em and all 6 trannys came back because failed verters. That was enough to convince me to never buy or recommend them.

I have been building transmissions for almost 30 years and have never known anyone who has had success with Dacco converters at any level . They are a mass produced converter that from my experience have always been poor in quality .

Nice multidisk converter for sale. Hell of a package deal for a trans / billet stall.

Dacco TC's are not a good converter period. They are typical of "mass produced" TC"s. When it comes to a standard diameter torque converter that is going to be a Heavy Duty unit I have used the Edge Workhorse for several years now without a failure. They cost more, but you get getting a reliable unit with a one year warranty. For the 9.5" or 10.5" torque converters I recommend the Vigilante. Yank, Pro Torque, FTI, etc. are good choices too. Stay away from Dacco.

you shouldnt look at cheapest price when it comes to a stall. if you do, you will most likely end up doubling your spending cause the cheap stall will kill the trans. Get a reputable stall from a sponsor on here. Yank, FTI, PI, Circle D

You can get a brand new PTC for 450. With a trans cooler it comes out a few bucks under 550$ shipped. Can't beat that, quality and price in one package.
