Default Please Help me do this guys!!!!!!!!!

I have a 1999 Z28 Camaro with a blown tranny. I'm also in possession of a 1996 LT1 4L60e with 30k miles on it. Hell or high water, that lt1 tranny is going in there for now! Does ANYONE no what I'm gonna have to do as far as the computer is concerned?

that 4L60E is NOT going in there, not without modding it a little. it's two different bell housing bolt patterns.

I got the torque converter. I'm about to order the adapter for the length. I'm just concerned about the computer. I heard something about having to switch a setting to "manual". does that mean I'll have to manually shift it from then on?
