TCI vs. YANK
A. Smaller tire
B. Lighter wheel
That extra width and heavy wheel slows the cars 60 down. Go to a lighter wheel and tire combo and the car will pick up in the 60 ft.

The Best V8 Stories One Small Block at Time
Wilwaxu was stock internals last time I saw him run which was last fall. He won the EFA stock internals Quick 8 competition that day. I believe that over the winter he ordered a H&C upgrade. I don't know if he has new track times with it.

Well just to let people know , I just installed a TCI 3800 I received from Kevin in a converter swap. All I can say is that the converter is great, very easy to drive around town with and when the time comes to hammering it look out this converter is sweet , stays right in the power slot . I love it , just wish i did it sooner, AS ALWAYS THANKS KEVIN your a great guy to talk to and went the extra distance for me, I Will post some times when I get to the track hoping in april when all the snow is gone.
that should do the trick. I thought the nitto's would be easy to cut a 1.60, indeed they are not. (was at a known sucky track if that matters)
I have dealt with TCI (Kevin winstead) on a couple of occasions, if i couldnt reach him by phone I reached him on ls1tech, He always returned my calls if i left him a message. Very good dealings, if you want info just call him up he will talk to you and maybe point you in the right direction .
Best bang for the buck converter in my eyes would be TCI.
The DA was between -1000 and -1050' on a TCI 3800
N/A Stock Internal 1.497 60'
And for the 100 shot pass(messing up before the 1/8 and letting off)1.461 60'
