I am not running a TH400, but that really doesnt matter...were talking about the shifter...only difference would be the Gate and the shift pattern...

they will fit...

but I actually opted for a custom pedestal so that it sat where I wanted it to...and I was coming from an m6...so I chopped into my center console to set it where I wanted to.

This is sort of an unfinished project...
I'm planning on doing a custom Fiberglass surround so its all one nice piece instead of a multi piece chopped up console...
I just havent had the time to sit down and do it...

I cant believe people like the positioning of a stock shifter...

and stock location is a horrible placement for a Reverse Manual Valve Body Th400

Yes. Sadly I swapped all my 6-speed stuff for the TH400 including the rubber seal/boot so I made a cardboard template of the area and fabbed up an aluminum plate and bolted/screwed it down in 8 spots (2 on each side) and mounted my Pro Ratchet shifter to the plate.

finally got warm enough here to get off my *** and start my swap. had to use aluminum square stock with thru bolts to raise the shifter up 2" to work with the stock M6 console. lots of trimming with a dremel. cant see any of the cuts once its together.

Why did you go from manual to automatic? I'm seriously considering the opposite and want to make sure I'm not overlooking the obvious..
Thanks
