I'm going to hook up a simple rocker switch to my 4L80e torque converter. I'm sick of it never locking on the freeway. What wire would I run the switch to? TCC SOL CTRL or the TCC PWM CTRL?

Thanks guys!
Not that simple with Chevy and the 80E. If you want it to lock on the freeway, then get it tuned to stay locked at anything under 30% throttle. I just set all my pid's in Cruise from 0 to 30% to 256mph and you have a constant lock up with no heat issue's. Normal Drive mode I set them to anything under 20% throttle.
I have tuned the TCC for countless hours and it doesn't respond to anything but extra load. It will lock when going up a hill, but once I reach the crest, it unlocks and stays unlocked until load is added again. It doesn't make any sense to me.
I think I will cut the PWM wire from the computer and add the rocker switch to it. I will delete all the DTC's so it doesn't lock out fourth gear and see how the computer handles it.
Yea that would be great. You can just post it up right here if you want. I don't have my HPT software with me right now. But I can check it out when I get my tuning computer back. Or you can post some screen shots of the tcc tables. Up to you. THanks
