There is a little metal retaning clip that once you slide the line in it clips the line in place and the plastic peice snaps in over it to prevent it from coming off. There are slits around the fitting in the trans and that is where the wire retainer goes. ill try to get some pics of one when i get home. This is what the retainer looks like. http://www.google.com/imgres?hl=en&c...76&tx=36&ty=90

I know the plastic pieces have slits in them and there is another thin plastic ring, I don't ever remember having those metal retainers though

After you remove those, there should be a metal retainer clip that you need to remove. Try a curved pick and needle-nose pliers? You could always use a wrench and just undo the whole thing. Might take a short while, but if the clips are being a PITA, it might actually be quicker (it was for me. Then again, I usually have no idea what I'm doing... What a sec...What the-- This isn't a mustang msg board...)

I am having the hardest time with the one on the top... the bottom one goes in perfectly... the top one no matter how much I wiggle it doesnt snap in... not to mention I even unscrewed the fitting and plugged it in and tried screwing in the fitting and that doesnt seem to wanna screw in

What giveS?

Looking at them they seem like straight thread, not tapered...that would mean there's an oring in there? If so maybe it is crooked? Total guess man, the fittings gotta be crooked, stripped, or blocked somehow.

I need a service manual apparently. Wtf are those plastic clips?

The plastic ones are to go over the wire retainer clip to keep it from springing out...

Update: I got em on there and itll be all put back together and ready for its first start up tomorrow
