Default Finish Line Trans

Anyone order from them lately? I ordered a trans on 7/2 & still nothing. I talked to Chuck a couple times & he said he was behind, which I am fine with. He told me 2 weeks ago he was going to get it out that week. He has 1/2 my money as a down payment. I have tried to call for 4 days & the phone just keep ringing with no answering machine pickup. I am a little concerned. Has anyone heard anything? Vacation maybe? Is the company in trouble at all? I am a patient person, but I am getting antsy now.

I know he's been busy and took a while to get my refreshed trans back. I knew up front he wasn't going to be rapid turnaround so I just waited and he came through. I think he's scaling back operations and has sort of gone dark on Tech. I'd send him an email though. It seemed like he was more responsive via email than PM or calling the shop.

Haven't heard from them lately as far as forum posts but I'm sure they're just busy. They're a great company, I'm sure they wouldn't dick you around on purpose.

i waited more than a month for mine. one of the main reason is that they have to wait on some cores to come in. that and chuck told me that they talk nearly a whole day to put a trans together because they pay attention to every detail. trust me man the wait will be well worth it. what level trans are you getting?

I've dealt with them on two different occasions and have nothing but great things to say about FLT...great customer service even after the sale!

Chuck is a great trans builder and is very busy right now. I just got my refresh back after a little bit of wait, but it is worth every penny! I have had nothing but good experiences with him and flt. Should have mine back in the car this weekend so I can try out these 2.84 planetaries!

I ordered the Level 3, I am not putting down much power. Chuck said it could handle what I am doing. I should have the trans by next week. Seems like a good guy to me, No complaints at all. I didn't know he was a 1 man show over there. I got concerened when no-one answered for 4 days. It's all good.

Ive got an FLT Level 3 in my car behind my heads/cam/SS3600 and I give it hell every day! It replaced my other built trans (different company), and has been perfect going on about a year. Im in no way nice to this thing (Besides a big cooler) and its never skipped a beat.

called em once a week for a month. no answer no returns. its my belief however that they make a great product, but are just understaffed and very busy from what I can tell. That still justifies me taking my business elsewhere.

I talked to him again today & he said he was the only one there. He had 3 or 4 people at one time but he is the owner/builder, everything..lol. He said he is starting to scale back a little bit. He dynoed my trans & said it all looked good & is ready to ship. Can't wait I am glad everyone has good feedback, that's the reason I bought from him.

That's a good feeling when you know it's all done. Sucks when the 2nd half of the payment comes tho lol.
