Default trans cooler with ram air?

I'm looking at doing a b&m cooler 11x8x1 1/2 mounted on the radiator. The question is if anyone has ran this style of setup with ram air setups. I have a home made ram air box(Chris1313 style) that goes all the way down to the airdam. Will the cooler get enough airflow to properly cool the trans fluid?

Too much of a blockage with the SLP or FTRA style duct.
Try mounting it horizontal.

As long as it in front of the radiator somewhere and above the air dam it will cool fine. Getting a big cooler to fit there though is the challenge.

I also wanna add its a big deal to install it like I did. Its on the side of the ssra instead of in back of it. If it is installed in back of the ssra there isnt enough clearance in front of the cooler. The ssra blocks air that SHOULD be pulled through by the fans. This is why my temps went through the roof.
I also installed this cooler so its not touching the radiator. If you look close you can see how it hangs over the lip of that metal peice which makes it perfect for on-coming air by driving when fans are not on.

Thanks for the input guys. I have a hayden cooler mounted dope style. Wanted to up grade it with the new 4000 converter I just put in. Idk if the smaller cooler will cut it. I didn't wanna mount that big b&m setup up under the bumper and have it catch on something and mess it up. BTW I don't have A/C in the car anymore. Idk if that makes any diff with mounting the cooler on the radiator.

With a smaller cooler you can look into a fan setup, it isn't necessarily cheap but it works wonders for smaller coolers that can't handle new heat.

I dont have ac either FWIW. Its a good idea to keep the cooler off the radiator like I did. Or you could have problems because the rad and cooler will be fighting eachother trying to cool down.
