Default Rossler 4l60e terminator 3 limits?

Ive got a full weight 6 speed LT1 car making 700 to the tire..... Im tired of breaking sheyot..... Who is having good luck with this product at my power level? Should I go 4l80e and spend a damn fortune? I hear they rob lots of power and are extremely costly to convert... My car is a weekend warrior that sees the track maybe once or twice a year and is pulled out only in perfect weather.. In other words Not a lot of extremely hard launches.. OPINIONS? Im told the 4l60 wont stay together at over 700 rwtq...

if your making 700 at the wheels then i would go with the 80. spend little more now and get it over and done with so you dont need to worry about it and drive the car like you want. uesless to have 700rwhp with a trans your scared of breaking

Just go 80e man, you wont regret it, specially with a transmission builder like Carl from Rossler.

The 80 is just as strong as a 400. If you need a overdrive get the 80. If not then get the 400

Im still wandering about the 80e .. Ive heard there are so many issues fitting them and it gets costly.. Car makes 430 on motor but the spray the motor comes alive 703rwhp 737rwtq. This is a full weight street car.. I saw the honeybadger car running high 9's all day with a built 4l60e. Im just at the edge where a 4l60 would be at its limits but an 80 would make iot run like a turd on motor and be overkill....

Why would it feel like a turd with the 80 and no spray??

No way I would chance a full weight car making almost 750rwtq with a 4l60. Thats alot of stress to put on that trans. Just asking for problems.

As Blackbird-ws6 stated..."its useless to have 700rwhp with a trans your scared of breaking." Honestly I think the 60e will hold for a while with a real good tune, shoot, theres people making amazing passes on 60e trannys. Even though thats the case I would be worried of the tranny eventually going out on you, thats where you know that a 80e is a ideal tranny to use. A 80e can hold around 800HP (recommended) just with a shift kit and a servo on a single cab truck, of course, tuning and quality of the transmission also takes a big effect on how strong can it hold. Find a junkyard 80e and have it rebuilt, or simply give Carl at Rossler a call and he will tell you whats your best option.

Give some tranny sponsors from here a call, they will help you out with good info.
