4l60e shifting issues

4l60e shifting issues So here is my issue, the car has had a bad 3rd gear bog at wot so I went and had it dyno tuned and it started to not have the bog. Tonight I ran some sea foam through it and when I went to drive it after wards I noticed the bog again, so I stood on it to see if it would do it again and it didn't bog. I wanted one more go at it and BOOM wont shift into 3rd just slips like crazy. I had to drive it home at 40 mph because the car wouldn't shift into 3rd or 4th. I had a buddy look at it with he hptuners so he could data log it cam up with a line pressure solenoid code. Could that be the only problem I am having? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

If its slipping like crazy then your 3/4 clutch is likely toast. Often a low pressure problem will quickly lead to a 3/4 clutch failure as this is the weakest link in the 4L60E.
Was there an audible "boom"?
But you have 1st and 2nd gear with the shifter in [OD]?

No there wasn't a audible boom just slipping. So you think the trans is toast?

Understood - no "Boom". An audible "boom" is often the forward sprag failing; that is why I asked if you had gears in [OD].
Sorry, but if the trans is slipping at low throttle going into 3rd, then it is toast. You can try first replacing the EPS (pressure control solenoid) as that should be replaced anyway, especially if there is a related code. It might even give you a bit more life, but once clutches slip they wear out quickly.
Obviously, you should seek a second opinion locally. IMO, local non-chain trans shops are more likely to give you an honest opinion.
If indeed it is toast, and you decide to get it rebuilt locally, I highly suggest that you ask for two simply upgrades that any trans builder can handle. First use a 4l65E rebuild kit as it has 7 frictions for the 3/4 clutch (and that is the only difference). Second, ask for the Sonnax 4L60E-LB1 boost valve to be installed. This will firm up all shifts and provide more line pressure at WOT to reduce slippage and heat during WOT shifts.

Yes sounds like the 3-4 clutch is toast all it could be time for a build or a trans.

Glad that Frank (Performabuilt) concurres, but I highly doubt that replacing the solenoid will fix it. However it is reasonable that the EPS failed, causing low line pressure, and this caused the 3/4 clutch to fail sooner than it might have otherwise.
A sponsor like Performabuilt sells their Level-2 performance trans for about $1500 (check for holiday sales). It has much more in the way of upgrades than the two minimum items I mentioned. A local rebuild is probably not much less. If you go to a local shop and they question why you would want the two upgrades I mentioned, go somewhere else! If they concur and suggest other upgrades or the Transgo Shift kit, that would be a good sign.
Update: The Sonnax Performance Pack is also a good shift kit.

Sounds like you also have engine sensor problems (MAF, TPS or MAP). Perhaps you got the SeaFoam on something that didn't like it. Regardless, a completely wrong sensor will not make the trans slip that badly, although a bad sensor could cause low line pressure leading to a clutch failure.

Well prior to this I had the tb off and was cleaning that and the intake manifold with tb/manifold cleaner because the Pcv system was throwing oil into it and causing it to smoke. When I put everything back together I ran some seafoam through it and now this.
