Results after the T56-80E swap 3k stall Circle D converter
So after the auto swap I'll be honest. I freakin' hated to even drive the car. But after just keeping my head down and working out each issue (with a lot of help from this board) I'm loving this car on the strip.
This past Sunday I got a new best everything. I did have a shifting issue that I finally got resolved after I got the car home and could work on it so when I go back it actually should be even quicker. I can't wait. I'm looking for the time slips. They're in the car somewhere. Anyway, here are the numbers.
1.54 60' 6.96 1/8th mile 10.94@122 mph 1/4 mile.
Compared to 12.02 with my T-56 and my 1.9x 60' times
Last time out I could only get 11.25 but I was having to lift before the end do to the bumps in the track. So I adjusted the rear shocks and was able to hold it this time to the end.
When I spoke with Circle D about choosing a converter he said on my budget this would be the one to go with and it would handle the spray well. He wasn't lying either.
Thanks to Circle D, NX Express for the new kit and Dobbins Racing transmissions. It's a completely different animal now.

With your mods.... you should see a big difference. Driving on the street isn't as fun as it was with the T56 but as much as it's on the strip.....Trying to decide if I'm going cam/heads or turbo next. I really like my 23 mpg so I'm leaning towards a turbo.
