stuck on the side of the road....(not anymore)
I'm on the freeway going home in sone stop and go traffic because of an overturned truck.
As the traffic cleared, I started to accelerate and it wouldn't upshift from 1st.
I have 1st and reverse, nothing else.
I got off the freeway and pulled into a gas station and check the trans fluid. It's over filled a bit, but that wouldn't cause my trans to take a **** would it?
I have a trans cooler mounted dope style, in series with my radiator trans cooler for my 3600 converter.
My car has only 58k miles.
Wtf is going on?

Phil told me my tune he did on the trans should be good until my dyno tune.
It felt good and locked up at about 50mph, tho today it was acting a bit funny and ut seemed like it was slipping a bit when I wad in lock up.

Thanks Chris.
I have no CEL on. Will I still get a code?
If a shift noid is stuck, how do I figure that out, and un-stick it?

Being frustrated, I just decided to take the car for a test run, to see if I could notice anything wrong, while not pissed off like the other day, and it drove fine.
WTF is going on here?
When it went out on me the other day, I was stuck in stop and go traffic, and when it cleared up, and I accelerated to try and get to freeway speeds, and lost 2nd, 3rd, and 4th.
Now it's driving fine. I hate to look a gift horse in the mouth, but I have a feeling that if I go on another longer trip, it might do the same thing again.
Any ideas at all guys? I'm stumped.
4L80E's have rev and sec. when they lose power, not sure about 60E's, reason I susp. plug

Now, when it warms up, and I take off, it seems like it doesn't want to go, so when I accelerate a little harder, then it kicks down to 1st and takes off.
When the trans is cool, it shifts perfectly.
I'm about to pull the pan and check the filter, as soon as it cools off a bit.
