Whining is indicative of low fluid level or a plugged filter.

Check the fluid level and condition. If it's OK you may need to drop the pan and look for debris, filter condition, and check the pickup tube for cracks, be sure it has (preferably) 2 orings in the case end.

If you ran it low on fluid, it likely needs a rebuild.

I would put a pressure gauge on it and see what you have. If it doesn't have proper pressure, it's not going to work.

we tested it right after we installed it. had 200-210. around there.

right after the t brake was wired is when the whinning noise came. im assuming it may of had low pressure when whinning and is why it didnt work.

FTI, the manufacture, said to pull the selonoid out and remove the o ring seal on the selonoid and then try it out. I forgot why they said to do this, but i will try this after i fix the trans.
