Default Circle D vs Yank

Just wondering. I'm looking to do a mild heads/cam car, bolt ons, stall. I really haven't been around the LS scene in a while but it used to be that the SS4000 and PT series were about the best you could do, but I see that Circle D has come out with a few new(er) products now too in the 5C and 6C I believe?

Anyone have any feeling towards one or the other?

Thanks

They are both great converters. I've personally never ran the Circle D but have the yank.. Yank ran flawlessly. However, I've never read anything bad about CD. Both would more than suite a H/C build without question.

You'll get nothing but positive reviews about both here. I personally have a yank ss3600 and I like it for a street car.

I agree that you'll hear nothing but good things about both, but I have an SS4000 so my vote goes to Yank as well. That converter is absolutely top notch and performs beautifully.

I have a Yank SS3600 and just ordered a CircleD triple disk 3600 which I will review/compare here, but probably not until next year since Michigan winter is encroaching.

As repeatedly mentioned above, nothing but good words on this forum for both companies. You cannot go wrong with either. Both give excellent customer service. Dave (@ Yank) charged me a low repair price for a converter I admitted to ruining. Chris and Brian (@ CircleD) answer all converter related questions here, often within minutes.

Or you can go Circle D 2/3E if staying NA and rip as well.

Both are good companies, call both and go with who makes you feel better about their product. I had a SS3600 and it was a good street converter. I now have a Circle D 2E but haven't ran it yet.

Everything that needs to be said has been said above. Call them, talk to them, choose one. You can't go wrong either way.
