what stall do i need
ok my car is a 1974 MGB I have a 4.8 with the gm hot cam and a turbo 350. the car only weighs 2200-2400 lbs ( depends on me and gas )lol anyways I have been driving her with no stall, since I did the cam swap I don't like it. so any help would be great. also I am running a carb no computer. I don't race her and it's a daily driver all spring and summer thanks guys and happy turkey day

With such a light car the "flash" rpm will likely be less than the advertised stall speed.
Also, explain what you don't like since the cam swap; I think I know, but want to be sure.

ok guys sorry about the lack of info, the weight raito is roughly 60/40 60 to front, the mgb is a rear wheel drive 2 seater convertible , I put a ford 8 inch with 279's I had 390's with the dana( mgb stock rear ) it wound to high on the highway. what I don't like about it now is when she's stopped at a red light she is jumping the cam has a good lope I love how she sounds but not how it jumps. well my wife really hates it .I kind of like looking at her when she is bouncing ( if ya know what I mean) lol. help me out guys, thanks again. the other thing I noticed with this cam was I lost my low end pull. when she hits about 3000 rpm my wheels break loose

because of the cam,in neutral, what rpm does the engine 'like' idling at ?
sounds like you're gonna need a 'loose' convertor to eliminate the red light jumping/bouncing.
too many put in too wild of a cam without/not realizing the consequences of a OEM or equilvalent tight convertor.

I should have added a part 2 to the question.
and what is the idle dragged down to in gear at a light ?
a loose convertor will allow the engine to idle where it wants to(for lack of a better description). unfortunately it will also seems loose(slipping) above idle too.
it's probably best to contact Yank,CircleD,and/or others to get their recommendations.

In that combination I would recommend one of our SB series performance converters. This converter will allow it to idle in gear and also improve performance. The drivability will be great. They are also on sale for or Cyber Mon sale. Check it out on our website www.ftiperformance.com. The part # you will want is SB2800LS
