Default Need help finding Th400 VSS!

car info: 02 Trans Am, lsx th400 swap

Hey guys, i have a th400 thats almost finished, i need the vehicle speed sensor that bolts to the side to complete my swap.

What i gathered from the internet and from people is that i need :

gm part # 24232618
Speedometer Drive Sensor

ac delco part # 213-3513

1988-1990 3/4 chevy pickup with a big block and a th-400. is the vehicle i was told to use as reference.

The Problem:

i have called Oreillys auto parts, Napa, Autozone, Gm dealer, All stores had a listing for a part with part numbers that i think would work however no one had any in stock or in the warehouse, Back ordered or discontinued ect...

Same thing with the gm dealer, they couldn't find any out of state either.

i have tried ebay, summit with no luck..
Also, have searched and read through ls1tech stickes/threads

Does anybody have any information on where i can get the right replacement sensor or is there a superceded part number i should be looking for?

ANY info is greatly appreciated, thanks!

Here is the same question from over a year ago:
https://ls1tech.com/forums/automatic...sor-stock.html

According to that, check if Jake or FTI have any left, but be prepared to pay appropriately for a long discontinued and very rare part.

The guideline is not to have links to non-sponsor websites.

I just used the speed sensors in the front wheel and changed it in my tune. Are you trying to keep ABS, or just using this considering you have the spot for it in your trans?
