An "LT" style converter only works with an "LT" style 4L60E which has a 298mm input shaft.
You need an "LS" converter which fits a (completely different style) 300mm input shaft.
Also, I would avoid any new converter under $450 as they are barely modified versions of GM's V6 converter. There are dozens of threads here about cheap converters failing and ruining the transmission. CircleD makes a good converter for $450. CircleD, Yank and FTI make excellent converters for $700+. Everyone says that spending that kind of money is the best value performance improvement they ever made.
