Will it work?
Will it work? My kids may have helped me make a bid on this converter... Im assuming that since it was bolted to an LT1/4L60E that it will be fine. I have a '99 LS1/4L60E. Any help would be great.

An "LT" style converter only works with an "LT" style 4L60E which has a 298mm input shaft.
You need an "LS" converter which fits a (completely different style) 300mm input shaft.
Also, I would avoid any new converter under $450 as they are barely modified versions of GM's V6 converter. There are dozens of threads here about cheap converters failing and ruining the transmission. CircleD makes a good converter for $450. CircleD, Yank and FTI make excellent converters for $700+. Everyone says that spending that kind of money is the best value performance improvement they ever made.

Like mrvedit said, there have been numerous threads with these types of converters ending badly. I have seen it first hand being a converter cut guy for a long time. The stock converters out of the 4 and 6 cylinders units provide the extra stall speed which is good, but they need some serious reinforcing for a performance application which drives the price up.
