Is it ok to spray a itty bitty 100 dry shot through a SS3800?

No doubt about it. It's perfeclty ok to spray a 100 shot through the STOCK converter....and the SS converter is WAY stronger than stock.

Kewl, so when people refer to the "E" series as a nitrous converter, it is more for the people who are looking for 200,225 shots

What would you say a safe limit would be for my converter....150?

The E series is for those with insane amounts of power.

Safe limit for the SS converter? It's very hard to put an exact number on something like that. You so rarely hear of high quality converters failing simply due to too much power. At some level of power you start getting into shell deflection that causes some loss of efficiency. At some point soon thereafter you can have an outright failure. But we're talking BIG power numbers to reach that point with a Yank converter. I wouldn't be scared to take a 400 RWHP HP engine and throw another 250 shot on top of that with a standard SS converter. At that level it would be worth the peace of mind to go with an E converter but I honestly don't think that you would hurt a non-E converter at that point.

Also keep in mind that the E converters have the posi-loc clutch which helps to give the converter more "holding power" when engaged, thus keeping the RPMs where you need them on the bottle.

I guess my main question is with the extra power from the turbo do you think it will make my SS4000 stall too high putting me out of my powerband?

It probable will be no good for your turbo, you are just going to have to let me have it!
