Bollting Torque Converter up - problem
)(*&(*&%^^%$^&&
I have the tranny out. Pulled TC. Added fluid. Dropping back in. I get it to where the measurement from pad to a straight edge is just a hair short of 1 1/8".
The Torque Converter is locked. Will not spin.
This is so frustrating. Anyone ever have this?
It is a new transmission, although I've had it for a year and half.
I supposed I'll need to take it to a shop.
Any thoughts?

Took it up to the shop this morning. While there, he pulled the pump.
Yup, quite broken. When pulled apart, there is a piece that the torque converter does go through..maybe the drive for the pump. Was broken in 3-4 pieces.
He said they don't usually break like that unless you start the engine, which didn't happen.
I really don't think I broke it while putting the tranny and engine together, but who knows.
I'll definitely be careful the second attempt.
