1994 4l60e into 1998
Alright the answer for this is all I've and none address my situation so let's see what I get here
I have a 1998 that 3rd and 4th stopped working. I happened to luck into a 1994 rossler built Trans with a yank 3400 LT1 convertor. I know the stock convertor can not handle being PWM driven by a 98 PCM. Question is can a yank that should not be 94 specific with a 94 Trans work. It has an adapter on the convertor to fit an LS. Or is there a way to put the extra solenoid needed.

You would need to install a PWM front pump assembly, swap the valve body, separator plate and the internal harness. In short the case if fine and the rest of the internal are compatible too.
Of course you probably don't know the condition of the trans; the 3/4 clutch might be worn out, etc.
Sometimes a "free" transmission costs a lot of money to modify and use. I would suggest selling it to those '94 Camaro owners that need that specific trans, and getting a '98 or later LS compatible one.

The '94 "Short" Stator Support would need to be pressed into the '98 Pump Cover for the 298mm "Style" converter to work. Swap in a Trans-Go or Sonnax TCC "On/Off" Regulator valve.
However...I agree, Sell the '94 & build your '98.

Forgot that the OP has a '98 available for parts. I was thinking of installing a '96 or '97 pump.
Rick: As you are probably figuring out, all this is getting quite complicated. Hence the suggestion to either rebuild what you have or buy something newer. Any LS compatible '98 through '08 will work perfectly.

That sucks. I have a Trans that can hold 900hp and a convertor that can take 1200hp and because of something stupid I can't use it. That's my life lol. So what could be wrong with the 3/4 in the other Trans

Your trans needs a rebuild.
