Default CircleD 4C vs Yank PAS3400

Talked to both and these were the recommendations when I throw the D1X Procharger on the car.

Seems like the Yank might drive better and perform better. But I don't know if that's true.

Anybody have any opinions?

I pm'd about everyone I could find on tech here using a pas3400 and got no replies. Pas converters are more popular with the vette crowd. Here's a thread I started asking about the pas over there. No miles on mine yet so can't comment yet. https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums...00-ussers.html

I honestly thought Dave would suggest the Pro Yank for me. But he said at 700rwhp, the PAS is the right converter. The Pro Yank is too tight. And he told me an 800rpm drop with a 6900 shift point. Very efficient up top as well.

if your planning on switching now I think you'll end up with the same extension you have now. It would be tighter down low for you but the efficiency up top will leave you where you are now without the added power. It also could be a little tight for you down low feeling like a slug compared to what your use to now.

Tighter down low would be good with a loud exhaust...

But I probably won't switch the converter until right before I install the supercharger. No sense in running such a tight converter right now.

With any luck in a couple weeks I'll let you know how the pas does up around the 700 mark.

Any updates Tug? I'm was looking at the PAS3400 as I am building a 370 with a D1sc and hoping for ~750rwhp. Has anyone ever had a SS3600 rebuilt to a PAS3400?

JakeFusion- I saw in your sig you have a FLT lvl 6 trans. Is that their 4l65e and if so how much power do you currently make? I have their lvl 4 and can't decide if I should just have it upgraded to a lvl 6 or switch over to an 80e.

Sorry to report no. Haven't had the car out this year yet. Id like to say I'll have it out soon but that's what I said when I last posted in this thread.
