So you're saying the PSM was missing, as in removed?
the PSM is not there as in there are no provisions for it, no bolt holes machined into the valve body. At first, when I bought the trans I thought it was a 2002 the guy said it was from a 2004 4x4 Silverado he didn't pull it he got it in a trade. But there are no provisions for PSM so I'm thinking 2012 4l60e? I heard after 2009 there were some design alterations with the 4l60e

Okay, I'll take a look later today for a date cast. Right now I'm getting a P1810 code and upon tuning/test drive it would shift out of 2nd gear. Would replacing valve body with older maybe 2002 work? Maybe something like this? https://www.ebay.com/itm/4L60E-4L65E...-/122937609899 New internal harness, solenoids, PSM, and separator plate?

Is there some type of switch that is hooked to the selector shaft on the inside of the trans?

here are some pics so I guess it is a 2012, and there is a switch on selector shaft. would using a older valve body work to solve this issue?

The switch on the shaft takes the place of the pressure switch manifold. Make sure it is hooked up and adjusted correctly. Check with an ohm meter to make sure it is working correctly.

haven' tested with ohm meter but trans wouldn't shift correctly upon tuning and test drive. would just stay in 2nd the entire time. I have it mated to 5.3 LM7 with older red/blue pcm. Do these newer trans require tcm? Also I found another thread related to this issue and they couldn't get newer design 4l60e to work properly, but they did replace valve body with one from older 4l60e could someone verify This? I'm thinking it maybe be possible to just replace valve body along with internal harness, solenoids and it'll work?

Is there a master list of transmission codes somewhere? For example, my GTO is a 6HMD, but I've only found one list and mine isn't even on it.
