Checking servo clearance needs to be done with the servo totally disassembled with only the servo and pin together.
Remove the accumulator, spring, and the spring on the servo pin.

Your clearance "starts" when the seal is totally captured in the sealing bore. Once you can no longer see the seal...count that as zero and go from there.

.100 will be fine.
This is how I currently have the servo set up for testing. I was just having some trouble seeing where to start the measurement. I will check it again tonight, starting the measurement as soon as I cannot see the seal slot anymore.. thanks for your help!

So the shim I have will not fit so that means I need another selectable washer. My rear endplay is .006. Front endplay is .025. The next biggest selectable pump washer is .105(currently have .090). That will leave me at .010 front endplay. Does that seem too tight?

I assembled the pump with the new washer and the endplay came in at .010. That works for me. I have a bunch of washers in a bag that came with my rebuild kit. I am trying to figure out which one is the TCC o-ring that goes on the input shaft. Also, I seem to have misplaced the little cup that goes on the spring for the manual 2 brake band servo. I will try to find it or get a new one next week, unless it is possible to leave it out.

I am very excited to be this close to finishing!

the green one *looks* like the ones that come in kits now days. they used to be black.

i've never seen or used that cup thingy in the second pic
