Only thing pending is pin-less Sonnax accumulators which I asked Dana about. I'd prefer pin-less and kit came with pinned. Description says it comes with one pin-less and two pinned. He'll get me taken care of.
He hasnt changed that. He actually provides regular accumulator pistons but with longer shanks and a new pin. Im not a big fan of the pin less, I think its a waste for what it is. But not saying they wont work, your just not gaining anything really

I ordered Pinless accumulator pistons for all 3 locations very early... matter of fact, I think I had them before I had a core to rebuild.
I installed the Forward in the end of the VB without any problems.
I decided to block 3-4 accum like Maroon does. So didn't use it.
One of the threads that was posted by someone, maybe bbond105 or Edward Starks or 2BFAST, clinebarger ran across them using transgo parts and pinless pistons, and I believe they said the 2 are incompatible.
If you are using Sonnax or stock springs you can use the pinless w/o any problems. I think the transgo springs may bind up. I inserted the biggest spring into a pinless and the outer diameter is nearly the same as the piston's I.D. I was thinking of running a drill with a sanding roll around the inner diameter to gain some clearance, but I may just order a transgo aluminum piston...

I didn't realize so many "old folk" are driving F-Body cars... Them's for kids, aren't they? My last was back around 1982, a '67 RS/SS350 with a '70 L46 (think 11:1 LT1 but with hydraulic cam & 10 less hp), M21 and fold-down rear seat... back when everybody into GM cars knew what "pink rods" where.
I had ya's pegged for C/K's or B-Bodies, but yep, gotta admit, the title says Camaro and Firebird Forum... Thanks for all your contributions!

I started building 4l60e's at 13 years old. By the time I graduated high school I had more 60's under my belt than probably 90% of people that visit this forum.
I've changed alot inside my builds since then. Learned alot. updated/upgraded many parts. Changed many theories on how I do things etc.
But to discount someone's info solely because you don't know their age...that's a bit silly.

EDIT:
2+2 from a 60-yr old should be the same from a 16-yr old; HOWEVER, the 60-yr old has much more experience and WISDOM the 16-yr old does not have... yet...

I am at final assembly. Using 69 selective washer. There is 0.004" clearence. I need a 67 and 68 selective washer to adjust end play. Havi g trouble finding them though. Anybody know where i can get those?

Got a 67 selectable washer. A forum member had one at his house he was nice enough to mail me I now have 20 thousands clearance.
I just about have the transmission buttoned up. Looking through leftovers here and want to make sure I've accounted for every seal necessary and not left anything out.
I cannot identify these seals.
Not sure what package the blue seal came from.
