Default What size stall

Hi I'm rebuilding my lm7 it's bored .10 over with flat top pistons full roller .625.625 cam hardened rods upgraded rockers I've got the 08+ intake with 102mm throttle body decapped 80lb injectors new heads I've put the 255lp Wahlbro intake fuel pump and put in a powertrax grip pro rear-end with 4.10 gear. I know I need a stall converter but I don't know what size.. I am planning to put in a 383 stroker assembly but can't right now.. I'm also going to twin turbo it and it's my daily driver.. any input is appreciated
I forgot to mention I'm still running the 4l60e

Call Chris over at Circle-D or any other quality coverter builder and let them spec something for you. I ordered my 3200 stall from Circle-D and they contacted me for more info like vehicle weight, gear ratio, tire size, horsepower, street or track etc. One size stall doesn't fit all.

More information will be required to recommend a converter. Going off what you have already provided the following will help in speccing out a converter.
  1. power goals (hp)
  2. tire size
  3. turbo(s) size
  4. intended boost pressure
  5. cam duration @.050 & LSA
  6. weight
  7. vehicle type(car, truck, tbss)
  8. shift rpm @ WOT
  9. What year 4L60

cam specs @ .050 230/246 .625/.625 lift 113LSA. It's an ext. Cab 02 silverado with an 03 front clip. Tire size is 000/45/20 I can't remember the first set of numbers and I'm not with the truck. 4l60e is 02. 4787 is curb wieght its not done so it's not tuned yet. Turbos are t4 compressor trim 50 inducer 69 exducer 98 a/r 0.66 turbine trim 78 inducer 88 exducer 77.5 a/r 1.05. Power goals no specific number I am going to be changing the rotating assembly to a 383 stroker kit in the future hopefully not to distant future .. it is re-geared to a 4.10 powertrak grip pro.

You are most likely going to want to change the Ring and Pinion Ratio...

Not necessarily. 4700lb truck and 30" tire currently N/A. 4.10 is about right. It may be too much once he does the 383 and twins but that will also depend on how much power he plans to make and if the truck loses or gains any weight in that time.

some sort of power goal would be very helpful. this could be a 600hp build or a 1000+hp build depending on how you do things. both are 2 very different converters.

Also since its a truck: any plans on towing?

Twin Turbocharged 383 SBCs from My Shop would obliterate the Tires in that vehicle with 4.10:1 Gears.
