??About 4l60e alto rev input drum saver kit ??
I bought input drum saver kit it only came with wave plate not the spacer. Can't find the spacer anywhere I got some raybestos high energy frictions, new steel turbulators. Bought a cheap old 700r4 wave plate it fits in the drum but covers bleed hole to much I think could maybe use as spacer I know alto has a .90 spacer can't find a picture of it and don't know what to use to replace it but I'm sure there's something that can Belleville steel is .90 but I don't know what that would do. This is my first rebuild done with everything besides a few little things to make it better I thought it sounded like a good idea maybe not lol any help would be appreciated thanks.

The most I can get is .25 now what do I do buy thinner steels which I dont want to or different pressure plate? Or is .25 ok? If it's not I think I'm gonna have to go back to the Belleville plate.

I don't think there is a set thickness for the stock plate, it is whatever thickness that the factory needed to set the clearance.
You need to go by Harbor Freight and pick up a 6 in. Digital Caliper, if you don’t already have one and measure the thickness of the plate you have. Then do a little math and order the plate you need.
Harbor Freight has Calipers anywhere from $10 to $50. I can’t imagine trying to build a transmission or engine without one.

One of my favorite aspects of the original THM700-R4, and after the 4L60E Family...
Is all of the Selective Backing-Plates (Reverse-Input, Low-Reverse, Forward, and 3-4 Clutch-Packs), Selective Apply-Plates, and Steels of different thicknesses...
That were produced!

I wish all Transmissions were produced this way!
