tranny goes from 1 to 4 sometimes???

tranny goes from 1 to 4 sometimes??? Last night at the track my tranny went straight from winding out first into OD and then just stayed there until 60 and then locked the converter! This was at WOT on a stalled but otherwise stock 4L60E. It only seems to do it after it has been sitting awhile, if I had hot lapped it back around again it would have been fine. Any ideas? It really sucks to wait in staging just to run 15 second 1/4's! Thanks.

Both are good. The line pressure is near stock, via HP anyway. And the fluid level is right where it should be. I logged the runs on my HP and couldn't find anything out of the ordinary. Any other ideas? Anyone?

have herd of this problem It has been my experience that a 1-4 upshift is caused by a defective shift solenoid B in the trans. the shift solenoids are both the same and relatively cheap from the dealer.
