It would be awesome to have a B&M 3500 Stall, Cooler and shifter all in one neat package. You could call it "The LS 35 Kit" or for a 3000 stall call the package "The LS 30 Kit" and so on! Hey it was just a thought!! Cant wait to see that new shifter under my Christmas Tree!! WOO HOO!!!!

Although it will be a direct replacement for a stock shifter, it is mainly for those looking to manual shift their automatics, regardless if they have a manual valve body or not. The ratcheting mechanism works by positively locking into the next desired gear shift to avoid overshifting. The stick or handle will return to the previous location for quick access to the shifter, where you can also engage the next gear when ready. Great for drag racing, or even road racing/auto-x (if so desired). This will work with all GM automatic transmissions.

Uhm, it is approved and the engineering dept. is already working on the production design. The "big dogs" are well aware of the potential for this product. Doesn't hurt to keep calling.

Personally I would love to see the 'Quicksilver' as a model available for our cars. It would still retain some of the original look of the factory but with a huge advantage over it. I think that is one of the cleanest shifters in the world. Not alot of BS hangin on it. You could even drill a hole in the side of it to adapt a Nitrous switch!! I cant wait to see what B&M comes out with, I'm sure it will look great!!

Wow, talk about an old thread. Since my departure from B&M, this project went the way of the dodo bird. With some creative modifications any shifter will work in a late model F-Body.

Too bad there is nothing for an auto GTO. They are linkage instead of cable.

Remove all of the linkage, and use a shifter that uses a cable.
